OUR CENTER

Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - Bashford is conveniently located off the Watterson Expressway at Bardstown Road in Louisville, Kentucky. We offer short-term rehabilitative as well as long-term care - a full range of medical, nursing, rehabilitation and social services to treat and support each of our patients and residents. Many of our patients go home after a few weeks and, for those who are unable to return home right away, we provide safe, compassionate care in an environment that fosters independence and dignity.

Our center offers a secured unit catered specifically to the needs of those in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer’s disease, or other related dementias. The Reflections Unit is staffed with individuals who receive specially training in working with those with memory impairments. All programs, activities and therapies are designed with the patient and resident’s unique abilities in mind.
