About Our Medical Director

Dr. Cheryl Barnes has served as our center’s Medical Director since 2007. Dr. Barnes attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she focused in General Medicine. She has been working in long-term care since 1999.

Dr. Barnes serves on Kindred Healthcare’s Hospice Advisory Committee and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association and the Jefferson County Medical Association.

When she has free time, she enjoys spending it with her family and her horses.
